The Setting
Our modern building has all the conveniences, faces north and has a lot of natural light, which can be blocked out if required. Importantly it also offers a tranquil setting. A mere walk in our beautiful gardens offers mental R & R - rejuvenating one’s thoughts for the conference. If you wish, lunch can be set up in the garden – weather permitting.

Location
Pear Ridge is very easy to find - on the Channel Hwy. Being situated 20min drive south of Hobart places Pear Ridge away from the many distractions of Hobart city, and from the day to day office demands. There is also plenty of parking.

Coaches
Coaches are easily arranged. The pleasant journey to & from Hobart is an opportunity to have some fun, informally discuss matters and team-build outside the confines of the conference. We relish the opportunity to cater for the cultural needs of the variety of delegates who visit so we will give this issue our full attention.

Great Food
Pear Ridge won the prestigious National Savour Award when trading as a restaurant. That standard remains for our function centre. We encourage you to ‘create your own menu’ by selecting the most appropriate style. Many of our dishes can be made gluten and, or dairy free.

Seating
Table configuration for appropriate meetings can be accommodate in the venue which seats up to 100 or in a marquee on our lawns in our magical garden – seats up to 250 guests. Contact us for specific details on seating for Theatre Style, Banquet, Board, U-Shape, Cabaret or Class Room.

Conference Equipment
To run smoothly, we will need to know your requirements: WIFI, laptops, overhead projectors, audio visual, data projection screens, white boards, microphone, amplifiers, flip charts…. We understand the importance of having what you need and in working order when you need it.
